PAGASA: Danger level heat index possible in 34 areas on June 13
Thirty-four areas of the country will have a heat index falling under the danger level on Thursday.
According to PAGASA's 5 p.m. heat index forecast on Wednesday, the following areas will have a heat index ranging from 42°C to 47°C:

46°C:
Catarman, Northern Samar
45°C:
Sangley Point, Cavite
Ambulong, Tanauan, Batangas
Roxas City, Capiz
44°C:
NAIA, Pasay City
CLSU Muñoz, Nueva Ecija

Alabat, Quezon
Legazpi City, Albay
Masbate City, Masbate
43°C:
Laoag City, Ilocos Norte
Aparri, Cagayan
Tuguegarao City, Cagayan
Calapan, Oriental Mindoro
Puerto Princesa City, Palawan

42°C:
Science Garden, Quezon City

Meanwhile, both Baguio City and BSU, La Trinidad in Benguet were predicted to have the lowest heat index forecast at 25°C.
According to PAGASA, areas with heat index ranging from 42°C to 51°C are categorized under the danger level.
Heat index is the measure of the temperature that a person feels, which is different from the actual air temperature. It is computed by factoring in the humidity and the air temperature.
PAGASA said heat cramps and heat exhaustion are likely in areas experiencing a danger level heat index. Heat stroke is also possible with continued exposure.
