Habagat to bring rain showers over western section of S. Luzon

The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat is affecting the western section of Southern Luzon on Sunday and will bring rain showers, PAGASA said in its forecast.

Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the monsoon. Moderate to at times heavy rains may possibly lead to flash floods or landslides.

Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Zambales, Bataan, and the rest of Mimaropa may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Habagat. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may possibly result.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may possibly occur during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country.
