Habagat to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over parts of S. Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao
The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the western sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao on Saturday, PAGASA reported.
Mindanao, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, and Romblon will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon with flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to heavy rains.
Metro Manila, the rest of MIMAROPA, Batangas, Cavite, and Laguna will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms also due to the Southwest Monsoon with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.
The western sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving southwestward and moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the southwest to southeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
