Five provinces in Luzon expect moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds before noon Wednesday.

In a thunderstorm advisory issued at 9:35 a.m., state weather bureau PAGASA said the affected areas are:

  • Quezon,
  • Laguna,

Meanwhile, the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will affect the western sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Metro Manila and the rest of CALABARZON will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.

The rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
