Heavy rains expected over Metro Manila, 5 Luzon provinces

Moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds are expected over Metro Manila and five Luzon provinces Wednesday noon.

In a thunderstorm advisory issued at 11:41 a.m., state weather bureau PAGASA said the other affected areas within the next two hours are:

• Quezon,
• Nueva Ecija,
• Bulacan,
• Laguna, and
• Rizal.

Meanwhile, Nasugbu and Talisay in Batangas; and Maragondon, Ternate, and Tagaytay in Cavite are currently experiencing moderate to heavy rains.

It may persist within two hours and may affect nearby areas.

Affected residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
