Habagat to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of PH

The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat continues to bring rains and cloudy skies over parts of Luzon, and the western sections of Visayas and Mindanao.

According to PAGASA's daily weather forecast at 4 p.m. Saturday, the Habagat is expected to cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Ilocos Region, Zambales, Bataan, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan.

Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Habagat are forecast over Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, SOCCSKSARGEN, and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may be felt over the rest of the country because of localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA warned that flash floods or landslides may occur in some parts of the country amid the inclement weather.

Meanwhile, moderate winds and seas are expected over northern Luzon.

Light to moderate winds with slight to moderate waters may also be experienced over the rest of the country.
