Cloudy skies, rains expected over Batanes, Babuyan Islands due to Amihan
The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) and the easterlies will continue to bring cloudy skies and rains over parts of the country.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast at 4 p.m. Thursday, Batanes and the Babuyan Islands will experience cloudy skies with rains due to the Amihan.
Caraga and Davao Region will see cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms because of the easterlies, which will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Flash floods or landslides may occur due to the easterlies.
Meanwhile, strong winds with rough waters may be observed in Extreme Northern Luzon.
Moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough seas may be experienced over the rest of Northern Luzon, and the rest of the country may have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
