Northeast Monsoon to affect parts of Luzon
Parts of Luzon will see cloudy skies and rain because of the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan), according to the state weather bureau PAGASA's early Saturday morning forecast.
Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, and the rest of Central Luzon and CALABARZON will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains while Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will experience cloudy skies with light rains due to Amihan.
Cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms will prevail over Isabela, Aurora, Rizal, Laguna, Quezon, and Camarines Norte because of the shear line.
The easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.
Winds will be moderate to strong, and coastal waters will be moderate to rough in Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon.
The rest of the country will expect light to moderate winds along with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:25 a.m. — VBL, GMA Integrated News
