PAGASA: Amihan, easterlies to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of PH
Two weather systems continue to cause rainy conditions over parts of the Philippines.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Friday afternoon, the Northeast Monsoon or amihan will bring cloudy skies with rains over Batanes, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, and the rest of Cagayan Valley.
The easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Caraga, Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, Southern Leyte, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.
Possible flash floods or landslides may occur over several parts of the Philippines as a result of said weather conditions.
Meanwhile, the whole country will experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
