Amihan, easterlies to bring clouds, rains on last Sunday of January

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) and easterlies will bring clouds and rains over parts of the country on the last Sunday of January, according to PAGASA's weather forecast.

Caraga, Davao Region, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies. Flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Amihan. No significant impact however is expected.

The rest of the country on the other hand will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may possibly result.

Coastal waters will be moderate in Northern and Central Luzon, and slight to moderate in the rest of the country.

Sunrise will be at 6:25 a.m. while sunset will be at 5:52 p.m. —KG, GMA Integrated News
