Amihan will affect Northern, Central Luzon; easterlies to bring cloudy skies, rains in rest of PH
The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will be affecting Northern and Central Luzon while the Easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains to the rest of the country on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.
Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with rains due to the Northeast Monsoon with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Surigao del Sur, Davao Oriental, and Davao de Oro will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies. Flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, the rest of Central Luzon and CALABARZON will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but this will have no significant impact.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.
Northern Luzon and the eastern section of Central Luzon will experience strong winds moving northeastward with rough coastal waters.
The wind speed forecast for the rest of Luzon is moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
Visayas and Mindanao will experience light to moderate winds moving northeastward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
