Multiple weather systems bring rains, cloudy skies over parts of PH
The Northeast Monsoon or Amihan, a shear line, and the easterlies will continue to cause rainy skies over parts of the country, state weather bureau PAGASA said.
According to PAGASA's daily weather forecast on Thursday afternoon, Visayas, Bicol Region, Rizal, Laguna, Quezon, MIMAROPA, and Dinagat Islands will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the effects of the shear line.
The Northeast Monsoon, meanwhile, will bring cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Norte, and Aurora, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the rest of Luzon.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will be felt over the rest of Mindanao due to the easterlies.
Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas of the country as a result of these weather conditions.
Meanwhile, strong winds with rough coastal waters may be expected over the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas.
Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central Luzon and Mindanao will have moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters, while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas.
Temperatures in the country will range from a minimum of 23.1 degrees Celsius to a maximum of 30.4 degrees Celsius over a 24-hour period.
