3 weather systems to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of PH
Three weather systems will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over parts of the country on Friday, PAGASA reported.
The Shear Line will be affecting Southern Luzon and Visayas, the Northeast Monsoon (amihan) will affect the rest of Luzon, while the easterlies will affect part of Mindanao.
Visayas, Bicol Region, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Dinagat Islands, and Surigao del Norte will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the Shear Line with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring due to moderate to heavy with at times intense rains.
Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, Bulacan, and Bataan will have cloudy skies with rains due to the Northeast Monsoon with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
The rest of LuzonPartly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but this will have no significant impact.
The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Easterlies with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas is strong moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be rough.
Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central Luzon and Mindanao will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving in the east to northeast directiion with moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving northeastward with slight to moderate coastal waters.
