ITCZ to bring cloudy skies, rain showers across Mindanao
Mindanao will experience cloudy skies and rain showers in the next 24 hours because of the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), according to PAGASA's early Saturday morning forecast.
Specifically, Davao Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, Sarangani, and Surigao del Sur will see cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms, while the rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
The shear line will prevail over Batanes and Babuyan Islands, while the easterlies will affect the rest of the country.
Winds will be moderate to strong in Northern Luzon, along with moderate to rough coastal waters.
Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters are expected for the rest of the country.
The sun will rise over Metro Manila at 6:20 a.m. —VBL, GMA Integrated News
