Cloudy skies, scattered rains over parts of PH due to amihan, easterlies
The Northeast Monsoon (amihan) and easterlies are forecasted to bring cloudy skies with rains over parts of the country on Thursday, PAGASA reported.
Caraga, Davao Region, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Southern Leyte, Camiguin, Misamis Oriental, and Misamis Occidental will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies with possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains
Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but this will have no significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but with no significant impact.
The rest of country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Easterlies with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao is moderate to strong moving Northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving Northeastward with slight to moderate coastal waters.
