3 weather systems to bring rain over PH

Three weather systems continue to affect the country, according to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Saturday afternoon.

The shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, Quezon, Northern Samar, and Eastern Samar, while the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon.

The easterlies will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Sur, and Surigao del Norte, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.

Flash floods or landslides may occur as a result of these weather conditions.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters may be expected over the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao.

The rest of the country will feel light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
