Amihan, easterlies to bring cloudy skies, isolated rain over parts of PH
The Northeast Monsoon (amihan) will be affecting extreme Northern Luzon while the Easterlies will affect the rest of the country, PAGASA reported.
Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Easterlies with possible flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Batanes will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but this will have no significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Easterlies with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecase for extreme Northern Luzon is strong and moving northeastward with rough coastal waters.
The rest of Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward with moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
