Easterlies to bring cloudy skies, rains over eastern section of PH
Cloudy skies and rains are expected in the eastern section of the country in the next 24 hours due to the easterlies, PAGASA said Tuesday afternoon.
In its 4 p.m. weather forecast, the state weather bureau said cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms would affect Aurora and Quezon Province.
These moderate to at times heavy rains may cause flash floods and landslides.
The easterlies will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
These severe thunderstorms may trigger flash floods and landslides.
Meanwhile, cloudy skies with light rains will persist over Batanes due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan).
State meteorologists also said the northern and eastern sections of Luzon would experience moderate to strong wind conditions and moderate to rough coastal water conditions.
Winds will be light to moderate, and coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the rest of the country.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:06 a.m. on Wednesday. —Mariel Celine Serquiña/VBL, GMA Integrated News
