Amihan, easterlies to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of PH

The Northeast Monsoon (amihan) and the easterlies are causing cloudy conditions over several parts of the country on Tuesday afternoon.

According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast, the Northeast Monsoon are bringing cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Quezon, Aurora, and Apayao, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

The easterlies may also cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Caraga and Davao region, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas as a result of said weather conditions.

Meanwhile, strong winds with rough waters may be felt over Northern Luzon.

Central Luzon and the eastern section of Southern Luzon will be having moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough seas, while the rest of the country will feel light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Temperatures in the country will range from a minimum of 23.8°C to a maximum of over 30.7°C the next 24 hours.
