3 weather systems to bring cloudy skies with rains over PH

The state weather bureau reports that the trough of the Low Pressure Area (LPA) will affect Caraga and Davao region, the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect Palawan and Mindanao while the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with isolated rains over the rest of the country.

As of 3:00 a.m. on Tuesday, PAGASA reported that the LPA was estimated at 695 kilometers east of Davao City and is embedded in the ITCZ.

The trough of the LPA will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Caraga and Davao Region with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

The rest of Mindanao and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for extreme Northern Luzon is light to moderate moving northeastward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
