ITCZ, easterlies to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of PH
The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and the easterlies may bring cloudy skies and rains over several parts of the country.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Tuesday afternoon, the ITCZ may cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Mindanao, Central Visayas, Negros Island Region, Western Visayas, Leyte, Southern Leyte, and Palawan.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
Flash floods or landslides may occur due to these weather systems.
Meanwhile, light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters are expected across the Philippines.
