LPA over Negros Occidental to affect several regions

A low pressure area will affect several regions of the country, the state weather bureau PAGASA said in its forecast on Wednesday afternoon.

At 3 p.m., the LPA was located over the coastal waters of Sipalay, Negros Occidental, and expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Visayas, MIMAROPA, the Bicol Region, Northern Mindanao, the Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, SOCCSKSARGEN, and Quezon.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of the easterlies.

Flash floods or landslides may occur due to rains.

The country will experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:31 a.m. on Thursday. — Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
