PAGASA: Cloudy skies, rain all over PH due to ITCZ, easterlies

Three weather systems affecting the Philippines will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains on Tuesday, PAGASA said.

According to its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, Zamboanga Peninsula, Western Visayas, and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms as a result of the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).

The frontal system hovering over Batanes and Babuyan Islands will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.

The rest of Mindanao will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms brought about by the easterlies.

PAGASA said that as of 2 a.m. Tuesday, no low pressure areas are being monitored for tropical cyclone formation.
