PAGASA predicts ‘danger level’ heat index in 13 areas on May 30, 2025
A “danger level” heat index is expected in 13 areas of the country on Friday, May 30, PAGASA said in a forecast.
According to the state weather bureau’s 5 p.m. May 29 bulletin, the synoptic stations in the following areas could measure a heat index of 42°C-46°C:

Dipolog, Zamboanga del Norte
Surigao City, Surigao del Norte

Aparri, Cagayan
ISU Echague, Isabela

CLSU Muñoz, Nueva Ecija
Alabat, Quezon
Iloilo City
Dumangas, Iloilo
Butuan City, Agusan del Norte
PAGASA classifies heat indices between 42°C and 51°C under the danger category, with a risk for heat cramps, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke.
