Habagat, frontal system to bring rain across Luzon

The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the frontal system will bring cloudy to rainy skies across Luzon, PAGASA said in its early Saturday morning forecast.

The Ilocos Region, Apayao, Abra, Zambales, and Bataan will see monsoon rains, while cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms are possible in Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

Batanes and the Babuyan Islands will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the frontal system.

Localized thunderstorms will occur in Visayas and Mindanao.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters are expected throughout the country.
