Southwest Monsoon to bring rains over Luzon
The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continues to affect Luzon on Monday and will bring rains, according to PAGASA's weather forecast.
Ilocos Region, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Zambales, and Bataan will have monsoon rains, with the possibility of flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.
According to PAGASA's heavy rainfall outlook for today, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Zambales, and Bataan will have 50 to 100 mm of rainfall.
Metro Manila, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cavite, Batangas, Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, and the rest of Central Luzon may expect cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms. Moderate to at times heavy rains may possibly result in flash floods or landslides.
The rest of Luzon meanwhile will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may occur.
Localized thunderstorms on the other hand will affect Visayas and Mindanao.

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in Extreme Northern Luzon, and slight to moderate in the rest of the country.
