Habagat, ITCZ to bring cloudy skies, rain over parts of PH

The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers over Luzon while the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect parts of Mindanao on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.

Ilocos Region, Abra, Benguet, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, and Pampanga will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon with the possible occurrence of flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Sultan Kudarat, South Cotabato, Sarangani, Davao Occidental, and Davao Oriental will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.

The northern and western sections of Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving southwestward with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the southwest to south direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
