Cloudy skies, rain expected across PH because of ITCZ, easterlies

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and the easterlies will continue to influence weather conditions in the Philippines.

In its early Saturday morning forecast, PAGASA said the ITCZ would bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over the Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, SOCCSKSARGEN, Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, and Palawan, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of Mindanao.

Bicol Region, Quezon, the rest of Visayas, and MIMAROPA will see cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies, which will also cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in the rest of the country.

Winds across the country will be light to moderate, along with slight to moderate waters.
