Thunderstorm advisory up over 4 Luzon provinces

Four provinces in Luzon are expected to experience moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds Monday morning, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

In a thunderstorm advisory issued at 8:48 a.m., June 23, PAGASA said the following areas will be affected in the next two hours.

• Pampanga, 
• Bulacan, 
• Zambales. and 
• Quezon.

The weather bureau said the following city and municipalities in Bataan are currently experiencing moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds.

• Orani, 
• Abucay, 
• Samal, 
• Balanga, 
• Pilar, and
• Orion.

The weather condition may persist within two hours and may affect nearby areas.

PAGASA advised affected residents to prepare against possible flash floods and landslides.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
