Thunderstorm advisory up in 5 Luzon areas

Five areas in Luzon are expected to experience heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds within the next two hours, PAGASA said Tuesday.

These areas are Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Metro Manila, and Batangas.

The state weather bureau also said the following areas are currently experiencing the same weather conditions:

• Zambales (Santa Cruz, Masinloc, Candelaria, Botolan, Palauig, Iba, Cabangan, San Marcelino, Castillejos, Subic, Olongapo); 
• Bataan (Hermosa, Orani, Samal, Abucay); 
• Tarlac (San Jose, Capas);
• Nueva Ecija (Penaranda, San Leonardo, Gapan);
• Cavite (Bacoor);
• Laguna (Cabuyao, Calamba) and
• Quezon (Quezon, San Narciso, Mulanay, General Luna, Macalelon, Calauag, Lopez).

These weather conditions may persist within 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.
