Habagat to bring more rains over parts of PH – PAGASA
The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat continues to cause rains over parts of the country, according to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Wednesday afternoon.
The Habagat is predicted to bring occasional rains over Metro Manila, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Occidental Mindoro, and Antique, and cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Negros Island Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, the rest of Western Visayas, mainland Cagayan, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, Palawan, Lanao del Norte, Sultan Kudarat and Sarangani.
The rest of the country will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the effects of the Southwest Monsoon.
Possible flash floods or landslides may occur as a result of said weather conditions.
Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters may be felt over the northern and western parts of Luzon as the rest of the country experiences light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
