Habagat to bring cloudy skies, rains over PH
The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat will continue to bring cloudy skies with rain showers over the country on Thursday, PAGASA reported.
Meanwhile, the state weather bureau is monitoring an LPA that was estimated at 540 kilometers northeast of Itbayat, Batanes.
Metro Manila, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Occidental Mindoro, and Antique will have occasional rains due to the southwest monsoon with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to heavy rains
Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Negros Island Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, SOCCSKSARGEN, the rest of MIMAROPA, the rest of Western Visayas, mainland Cagayan, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Bulacan, Batangas, Rizal, and Laguna, and Davao Occidental will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms also due to the southwest monsoon with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.
The northern and western sections of Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving southwestward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving southwestward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
