Thunderstorm advisory up over Metro Manila, 4 Luzon areas

Metro Manila and four Luzon areas are expected to experience moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds Thursday morning.

In a thunderstorm advisory issued at 9:44 a.m., state weather bureau PAGASA said the following areas can expect a bad weather within the next two to three hours: 

• Metro Manila,
• Pampanga, 
• Bataan, 
• Bulacan, and
• Quezon.

Meanwhile, San Marcelino in Zambales is currently experiencing moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds. It may persist within two hours and affect nearby areas.

PAGASA advised affected residents to take precautionary measures against flash floods and landslides.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
