Southwest Monsoon to bring clouds, rains

The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will continue to prevail on Monday and will bring clouds and rains, according to PAGASA's weather forecast.

Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Zambales, Bataan, Occidental Mindoro, Romblon, and Palawan may expect cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may possibly result due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country meanwhile will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may occur.

Coastal waters will be moderate in Extreme Northern Luzon, and slight to moderate in the rest of the country.
