Thunderstorm advisory issued for Pampanga, Tarlac, Bulacan, NCR, Cavite
PAGASA issued a thunderstorm advisory for Pampanga, Tarlac, Bulacan, Metro Manila (National Capital Region) and Cavite on Tuesday morning.
The advisory, issued at 7:03 a.m., said that moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds may be expected within the next two hours.
The weather bureau said the above weather conditions are also being experienced as of posting time in Bataan (Orion, Limay, Mariveles) and Zambales (Botolan, San Antonio). These conditions may persist within two hours and affect nearby areas.
PAGASA advised the public to take precautionary measures against possible impacts such as flash floods or landslides.
The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat will continue to bring scattered rains over the country on Tuesday, PAGASA earlier said.
Ilocos Region, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Abra, Benguet, Zambales, and Bataan will have occasional rains and floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to heavy rains.
Metro Manila, CALABARZON, the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Cagayan Valley, and the rest of Central Luzon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms, with flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may possibly result during severe thunderstorms. —KG, GMA Integrated News
