Habagat to bring rain showers over parts of PH
The southwest monsoon or habagat will continue to bring rain showers over parts of the country on Thursday, PAGASA reported.
Ilocos Norte, Apayao, and Babuyan Islands will have occcasional rains due to the southwest monsoon with the possibility that floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to heavy rains.
Central Luzon, the rest of Ilocos Region, the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon with flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for northern and western sections of Northern Luzon is strong and moving southwestward with rough coastal waters.
The rest of Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving southwestward with moderate to rough coastal waters.
Visayas and Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the south to southwest direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
