Habagat to bring cloudy skies, rains over Luzon, western Visayas
The southwest monsoon or habagat will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over Luzon and the western section of the Visayas on Thursday, PAGASA reported.
Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Batanes, and Cagayan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Western Visayas and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms and flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon is light to moderate moving in the southwest to southeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the south to southwest direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
