24/7 paid parking space opened at LRT-1 Dr. Santos Station

The Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) on Wednesday announced the opening of a 24/7 paid parking facility at LRT-1 Dr. Santos Station in Parañaque City.

The parking facility is intended for LRT-1 commuters who want to park their vehicles before taking the train.

The facility is operated by parking facility operator, GlobalParking Management, Inc.

The parking rates are as follows:

• Cars/SUVs: P40 for the first 5 hours (+ P10 / succeeding hour)
• Motorcycles/e-bikes: P30 flat rate for the first 8 hours (+ P5 / succeeding hour)
• Overnight Parking (10 pm to 7 am): P100

Motorists will be charged a P500 fee, on top of applicable parking fees, for lost, unreturned, or damaged parking tickets.

Meanwhile, the parking space has 93 car slots and 100 motorcycle/e-bike slots. It also features 24/7 security with CCTV surveillance and automated boom gates.

Further, persons with disabilities and senior citizens can avail of free parking just by presenting their valid IDs.

Dr. Santos Station was among the five stations opened in November 2024 as part of the LRT-1 Cavite Extension project. The other stations were Redemptorist–ASEANA, MIA Road, PITX, and Ninoy Aquino. — Vince Angelo Ferreras/VBL, GMA News
