Friday flights at Mactan-Cebu airport canceled, rescheduled  

The runway at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport  will be closed on Friday, affecting Cebu Pacific and Cebgo flight schedules.

The 16 initially scheduled flights that were cancelled are as follows:

The Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority announced the runway closure to conduct repairs as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of flights landing and taking off from the Mactan-Cebu airport.

"We sincerely hope for our passengers’ understanding, as this situation is beyond our control," the airport authority said in an advisory on Wednesday.
