Cebgo, CebuPac resume daytime flights to Legazpi City


Cebgo and Cebu Pacific flights to and from Legazpi City, Albay, will resume on Saturday, January 27, 2018, but on a reduced schedule.

The Legazpi Airport will be limited to daytime operations following the Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).

Early morning and evening flights remain canceled. 

According to an advisory released Friday afternoon, the following Cebu Pacific and CebGo flights scheduled January 27, 28 and 29 will be operated:

  • 5J 325: Manila-Legazpi
  • 5J 327: Manila-Legazpi

  • DG 6207: Legazpi-Cebu

In issuing the NOTAM, the CAAP said Mayon Volcano is still on alert Level 4 and advised pilots flying near the area to exercise extreme caution, as ash from volcanic eruption can be hazardous to the aircraft. —Margaret Claire Layug/KBK, GMA News
