"All other Cebu Pacific and Cebgo flights to and from Legazpi on January 30 and 31 are canceled," the carrier said in its advisory.
According to Cebu Pacific, the delays and the cancelations were because the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) ordered operating hours of the Legazpi International Airport from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. only.
Passengers on the canceled flights may choose to rebook their flight within 30 days free of charge, get a full refund, or place the cost of the ticket in their travel fund.
"We are monitoring the Mayon Volcano situation and are tracking seismic activity and movement of the ash cloud," the airline said. "We advise passengers with upcoming flights to and from the Bicol region to recheck their flight schedules." —Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/KBK, GMA News
