DPWH conducts road reblocking on EDSA, other QC roads June 1-4, 2018
Motorists were advised to plan their routes as the Department of Public Works and Highways conducts road reblocking and repair works on EDSA and four other roads in Quezon City from June 1 to June 4, 2018.
The repairs started at 11 p.m. on Friday, June 1, and will end at 5 a.m. on Monday, June 4.
Three sections of EDSA are currently undergo repair as of posting time:
- Arayat Street to M. Ignacio Diaz, first lane from the sidewalk, southbound;
- Eugenio Lopez Street to after Scout Borromeo, third lane from the sidewalk, southbound; and
- fronting Vertis North to Trinoma Mall, third lane, northbound.
Road reblocking and repair works are also being conducted as of posting time at the following areas:
- Quirino Highway from Bernardino Road to Rockville Subdivision, second lane, northbound;
- Batasan Road from Commonwealth Avenue to Katarungan Street, second lane;
- Congressional Avenue from fronting Business Bank to Mindanao Avenue, first lane; and
- A. Bonifacio Avenue before Dome Street, inner lane.

Traffic is expected to slowdown in these areas while repair works are ongoing, so motorists are advised to use alternate routes, DPWH National Capital Region Director Melvin B. Navarro said. —KG, GMA News
