PAL cancels some flights to Japan due to typhoon

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines on Wednesday announced the cancellation of some flights bound for Japan on August 8 and 9 due to the effects of Typhoon Shanshan.

In an advisory, PAL said the following flights have been cancelled:

August 8

• PR432 (Manila-Narita)
• PR436 (Cebu-Narita)
• PR424 (Manila-Haneda)

August 9

• PR423 (Haneda-Manila)

PAL said it has set up replacement flights on August 9 to accommodate affected passengers:

PR5432 (Manila-Narita)

• Leave Manila        6:30 am
• Arrive Narita         12:00 noon

PR5436 (Cebu-Narita)

• Leave Cebu          6:15 am
• Arrive Narita         12:00 noon

PR5424 (Manila-Haneda)

• Leave Manila        9:00 am
• Arrive Haneda      2:15 pm

PR5423 (Haneda-Manila)

• Leave Haneda      3:15 pm
• Arrive Manila        6:50 pm

PAL also advised the public that some flights would be delayed due to the inclement weather:

PR431 (Narita-Manila)

• New departure time         1:00 pm
• New arrival time               5:00 pm

PR435 (Narita-Cebu)

• New departure time         1:00 pm
• New arrival time               5:00 pm
