Some roads closed in Pasig on Dec. 15, 2019 for Paskotitap parade
The local government of Pasig City advised motorists to take alternate routes on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019, since some roads will be closed temporarily for the Paskotitap 2019 parade.
In a Facebook post on Friday, the LGU said the following roads will be closed to traffic at these hours:
- Caruncho Avenue in front of City Hall: 1 p.m. onwards
- Eagle Street: 5 to 6 p.m.
- Dr. Sixto Antonio Avenue: 6-7 p.m.
- Pasig Boulevard-Vargas Bridge/Rotonda: 6-7 p.m.
- A. Mabini Street: 6-7 p.m.
- F. Manalo Street fronting City Hall: 6-8 p.m.
Motorists were advised to take note of the following traffic re-routing scheme for Sunday:
To Rotonda from Shaw Blvd. and Bagong Ilog via Vargas Bridge:
- Take M. Flores St. to cross Sta. Rosa De Lima Bridge
- Left to R. Jabson St. to destination
To Dr. Sixto Antonio Avenue from C-5 Road (via Eagle Street):
- Take Ortigas Ave. Ext. to destination
To Dr. Sixto Antonio Ave. from Ortigas Ave.:
- Take C. Raymundo Ave. to destination
To Mega Market from Rotonda:
- Take C. Raymundo Avenue
- Right to Mercedes Ave.
- Right to Market Ave. to destination
To Rotonda/Quiapo/Crossing from Mega Market:
- Take Market Ave.
- Left to Mercedes Ave.
- Left to C. Raymundo Ave. to destination
To Eastern Rizal from Mega Market:
- Take Road 2
- Left to Caruncho Avenue
- Left to Market Ave. to destination
To Mega Market from San Joaquin/Pateros:
Option 1:
- Take G. Raymundo Street
- Left to F. Manalo St.
- Right to Caruncho Ave. to destination
Option 2:
- Take Elisco Road
- Left to M. Jimenez St.
- Right to F. Antonio St.
- Left to Balderrama St. to destination
To San Joaquin/Pateros from Mega Market:
- Take Road 2
- Right to Caruncho Ave.
- Left to F. Manalo St.
- Left to F. Antonio St.
- Right to Pio Alvarez St. to cross Kalawaan Bridge
- Right to Elisco Road to destination
To Rotonda from San Joaquin/Pateros:
- Take R. Jabson St.
- Left to P. Burgos St.
- Left to Lopez Jaena St. to cross Sta. Rosa Bridge to destination
Authorities said the roads will be closed portion by portion.
Caruncho Avenue beside the sports center will become two-way on Sunday temporarily.
