LRT2 to suspend commercial operations from March 31 to April 4, 2021

The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) on Monday announced its maintenance schedule for the Light Rail Transit Line 2 for the Holy Week starting next Monday, March 29.

In an advisory, the LRTA said it will operate normal hours on March 29 starting 5:00 a.m. with the last commercial train leaving Santolan at 8:30 p.m. and Recto at 9:00 p.m.

March 30: shortened operations

• Opening time at 5:00 a.m.
• Last commercial train at 8:00 p.m. (Recto-Santolan; Santolan-Recto)

March 31 to April 4, 2021: no commercial operations

Normal operating hours will resume on Monday, April 05, 2021 in which operating time starts at 5 a.m. with last commercial in Santolan will be at 8:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. in Recto.

The government on Monday implemented stricter quarantine measures in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal. Non-essential travel to and from the bubble has been suspended from March 22 to April 04, 2021, and those aged below 18 and above 65 have been advised to stay at home. — Jon Viktor D.
