LRT2 on provisionary service due to ‘technical problem’

The Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT2) implemented provisionary services on Monday afternoon, as it cited a technical problem.

In an advisory, the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) said train services are available only from Cubao to Recto, and Santolan to Antipolo. No further details were given regarding the technical issues.

LRT2 operations have been shortened amid the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in place in Metro Manila until August 20.

The first trip leaves at 5 a.m. and the last trip leaves at 6:20 p.m. from the Santolan and Recto stations; 6 p.m. from the Antipolo station; and 6:50 p.m. from the Santolan station. — Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/RSJ, GMA News
