Cebu Pacific reschedules flights amid Odette onslaught

Budget airline Cebu Pacific on Thursday  revealed some rescheduled domestic flights as Typhoon Odette continues to ravage portions of Visayas and Mindanao.

In a statement, the budget carrier said it rescheduled the following flights on Friday, December 17, 2021:

• DG 6839 Manila – Siargao: New ETD at 12:00 PM
• DG 6840 Siargao – Manila: New ETD at 2:50 PM
• DG 6881 Manila – Surigao: New ETD at 12:20 PM
• DG 6882 Surigao – Manila: New ETD at 3:00 PM
• 5J 447 Manila – Iloilo: New ETD at 11:00 AM
• 5J 448 Iloilo – Manila: New ETD at 12:55 PM
• 5J 457 Manila – Iloilo: New ETD at 11:30 AM
• 5J 458 Iloilo – Manila: New ETD at 1:30 PM
• 5J 337 Manila – Kalibo: New ETD at 2:00 PM
• 5J 338 Kalibo – Manila: New ETD at 3:50 PM

Further, the airline management said it will offer flexible options to passengers who booked flights to and from Cagayan de Oro on December 17, Friday.

Affected passengers may cancel up to two hours before their scheduled time of departure and select their preferred option through Manage Booking portal on the Cebu Pacific website:

1. Rebook

Rebook for travel within 60 days at no additional cost, following CEB’s permanent removal of change fees. Fare difference waived.

2. Travel Fund

Store the amount in a virtual CEB wallet valid for two (2) years and use this to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons (e.g. baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.

Those passengers affected by the flight suspensions from December 16 to 17, 2021, Cebu Pacific and Cebgo will mount more flights on  December 18, 2021:

• 5J 571 / 5J 572 Manila – Cebu – Manila
•  5J 585 / 5J 586 Manila – Cebu – Manila
• 5J 919 / 5J 920 Manila – Boracay (Caticlan) – Manila
• 5J 889 / 5J 890 Manila – Boracay (Caticlan) – Manila
• DG 6141 / DG 6142 Manila – Boracay (Caticlan) – Manila
• DG 6223 / DG 6224 Manila – Boracay (Caticlan) – Manila
• 5J 331 / 5J 332 Manila – Kalibo – Manila
• 5J 333 / 5J 334 Manila – Kalibo – Manila
• 5J 791 / 5J 792 Manila – Butuan – Manila

Passengers who want to rebook the above flights may do so through the Manage Booking portal on the Cebu Pacific website. Passengers may also choose other options (travel fund or refund) via the same link.
