Cebu Pacific announces more flight cancellations due to Odette

Budget carrier Cebu Pacific on Monday announced additional flight cancellations following the aftermath of Super Typhoon Odette.

In an advisory, Cebu Pacific said international arrivals at the Mactan Cebu International Airport have been rescheduled to December 23 starting at 6 a.m.

From December 23 to 25, only overseas Filipino workers and returning Filipinos who are Cebu residents will be allowed to board the plane and only a maximum of 250 passengers are allowed entry.

"The allowable limit will be adjusted as soon as hotel rooms become available," Cebu Pacific said.

Given the operational limitations in the aftermath of Odette, Cebu Pacific cancelled the following flights:

5J14 Manila to Dubai on December 23, 25, 27, and 30
5J05 Dubai to Cebu on December 23, 25, 27, and 30
5J582 Cebu to Manila on December 24, 26, 28, and 31

Affected passengers can choose to either rebook, refund or store in travel fund through the Manage Booking portal on the Cebu Pacific website (http://bit.ly/CEBmanageflight) until 30 days from date of departure.—Ma. Angelica Garcia/LDF, GMA News
