LRT-2 resumes ops after temporary suspension due to fire on Legarda
The Light Rail Transit-Line 2 (LRT2) resumed its operations before noon Tuesday after temporarily suspending it due to a fire incident near Legarda and Pureza stations.
In a tweet at 10:55 a.m., the Light Rail Transit Authority said, “LRT2 operations is temporarily suspended due to a fire incident near the carriageway between Legarda and Pureza stations.”

At 11:03 a.m., the LRTA made an update that it has already resumed operations.
“Train service is now available from Recto to Antipolo and vice versa,” it said.
The Bureau of Fire Protection-National Capital Region reported that a fire broke out on Legarda street in front of Arellano University around 10:19 a.m.
The fire reached first alarm and was declared under control at 10:46 a.m. It was declared out at 10:53 a.m.—AOL, GMA News
