LRT-1 resumes normal operations
The Light Rail Transit-Line 1 (LRT 1) resumed normal operations from Baclaran Station to Fernando Poe Jr. Station (former Roosevelt Station) and vice versa on Saturday morning.
In an advisory, the Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) announced that it had completed all the track work ahead of schedule, including the operational tests and safety clearances.
It noted that there will be no changes in the regular service schedule for its last trip on Saturday. The last train from Baclaran Station will leave at 9:30 p.m., while the last train from the Fernando Poe Jr. Station will leave at 9:45 p.m.
On August 20, the LRT1 had limited and half-day operations for its system upgrade activities.
The LRMC thanked passengers for their patience and understanding. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
